This class will be 1 year long and include at least 3,000 hours of classroom lecture, home assignments, and practically applicable hands on training. A year may seem a bit long compared to the 750 hour minimum set in place at DPOR but AOWTC Academy feels that to sufficiently teach students to be the best that they can be, a year must be allowed in order for the students to become successful, highly skilled, tattoo artists. There is so much to teach and AOWTC doesn’t want to just create mediocre tattoo artists. AOWTC wants to create the best tattoo artists in this area and set the bar for the future generation of tattoo artists. Students are expected to show up at the School by no later than 12pm to begin their learning experience. Throughout the course of the year the Instructor will adhere strictly to the Detailed Course Outline. Upon completion of all the necessary hours required by DPOR (Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation) and the completion of 100 tattoos on a human being, a test will be administered at the end of the enrollment period to demonstrate full comprehension of course material taught throughout their time at AOWTC
